Family life, adventures in photography, baking and making, the great outdoors and other things that make me smile.
Christ, that's managed to depress me - normally not possible on a friday morning with pizza and lay-ins to look forward to.But on the plus side, I have my annual appraisal this morning and have been struggling to constructively phrase how I feel about the job & relationship with my manager - this has helped me no end!
Same here - that's bleak. I wish I'd saved this for a Monday morning to really set me up for a proper shit week.
Sorry folks :-( Think about weekends full of walks by the lakes (Ben) and the sea (Laura).
Well, I think the bloke is an arse. If you don't like it, don't do it. You don't have to go and get mashed every Friday night and you don't have to pay back those loans if you don't earn enough. Do something useful instead. I think that most of us these days earn a fair amount for things that aren't really that stressful or difficult and we should congratulate ourselves that we do, not whinge about how it doesn't fulfil us. If it doesn't fulfil you, get out! Sorry, rant over.
ooh, I feel well and truly told off now Bex - I've been moaning about my shitty job for over a year now...But you're absolutely right and I'm planning to get off my arse and do something. At least I do have a window here though.
Sorry, I didn't mean to tell anyone off. Whinging is allowed as long as it is amusing. Some of my colleagues make me laugh so much (unintentionally), that I regard it as a perk of the job.
