Um...
I have quit my job.

Yes, I've done it. Have decided on June 16th as my leaving date, which gives them lots of time to find a replacement and me plenty of time to come up with a plan of action.

Gah! I feel sick.

  1. Miss Meep, since I haven't had time to read the rest of your blog just yet, can you tell me what job you did. Also why did you decide to quit especially after you just had a holiday.

  3. Oh. My. Goodness!
    That is:
    a. incredibly exhilerating, uplifting, exciting, and full of promise.
    b. understandably a bit scary.
You are creative, determined, energetic, and talented in many many ways. It's really just a matter of which of your many skills you should use to make you a. happy and b. rich.
    Remember you're a Womble,

  4. Hooray, Hooray!

Life's great here in semi-employed-freelance land y'know, you'll love it.

And yours'll be full of cakes, which is even better.

(I've just eaten an Asda-bought tiramisu I'm ashamed to tell you. It was nice, though)

Thanks for your support everyone - I need it!

Thanh7580, I am a copywriter - I write things! Brochures, adverts, press releases....

I quit because I am bored of the corporate nonsense and the 9 to 5 thing, so I'm going it alone.

    Eeek!

  8. Babyatom, I'm not entirely lazy, I've only recently started visiting this blog, and it might've taken me ages to go through all the posts (which I will eventually do) to find out what Miss Meep does. Instead I do the smart thing and ask politely and directly to Miss Meep.

Miss Meep, good on you to have the courage to take steps towards what makes you happy. Hope it all turns out well for you. Now since you write adverts, how about writing an advert for my blog, to help me get more traffic so I can live off Google advertising revenue and quit my job and work from home. I'll pay you in chocolates. :-)
